Key Note Speaker: William Bernhardt
William Bernhardt is the bestselling author of more than forty books, including the blockbuster Ben Kincaid legal thrillers (Justice Returns, most recently), historical novels such as Challengers of the Dust, two books of poetry (The White Bird and The Ocean’s Edge), and the Red Sneaker books on writing. In addition, Bernhardt founded the Red Sneaker Writing Center to support writers of all kinds in all stages of their careers. The Center hosts the annual WriterCon in Oklahoma City and small-group seminars in various US locations, as well as a free monthly e-newsletter, a biweekly podcast, and a free phone app. He is one of the most sought-after writing instructors in the nation.
Marji is the president of Write Integrity Press, LLC and it's new four imprints. With dozens of book releases each year and almost two dozen authors working with her, she has her hands full.
She's collaborated in five novellas over the last two and a half years with Write Integrity Press. The first, The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt, rose to best-seller status, catapulting all the authors to Amazon's top 100 list. Her solo publishing career began with the Grime Fighter series, five novellas following mysteries encountered by a crime scene cleaner. Her first full-length novel, COUNTER POINT, was the first of a series contracted by Write Integrity Press in January of 2016. (Released in November 2016 and a 2016 Grace Award Finalist.)
For ten years, Frank Ball directed North Texas Christian Writers to help members improve their writing and storytelling skills. In 2011, he founded Story Help Groups and joined the Roaring Writers ministry seven years later to encourage and equip all Christians to tell their life-changing stories. He has taught at writer’s conferences and churches across the U.S. and Canada. Besides writing his own books, he does ghostwriting, copy editing, and graphic design. As Pastor of Biblical Research and Writing for three years, he wrote sermons, teaching materials, and hundreds of devotions. His first book Eyewitness: The Life of Christ Told in One Story is a compilation of biblical information on the life of Christ in a chronological story that reads like a novel.

Secrets Of Writing A Best Selling Novel
Bestselling author William Bernhardt wrote the bestselling Ben Kincaid thriller series and has now launched the Daniel Pike series, which received a #1 Best Seller flag before it was even released. The Pyschology Of A Hero
Fiction today needs an in-depth perspective (deep POV), showing instead of telling, and avoidance of author intrusion. This workshop gives you the
tools to delve deep into the psyche – both through discovery and through creativity – of your heroes in order to anticipate their reactions and keep them consistent throughout the plot –even if they grow through the story. Ample examples and descriptions will be discussed for the different personalities so you can be confident in the ones you choose for your characters.
Mediocre To Mesmerizing: Quick POV Fixes
Know what to look for in deepening the point of view without having to rewrite the scene. Begin with the most simple grammatical improvements that help the author “show, don’t tell.” Then look at possible sentence revisions that give readers a better feel for being in the scene, involved in the action.
