Author Laurel Thomas joined us for our November OCFW meeting. She showed us how to build a palette of images that capture a picture and invite the reader inside our stories. At the end of her lesson, we tried our hand at creating an image with nothing but our words and imagination.
For me, I learned a lot about how to immerse the reader into the story. How to create the scene with visuals that induce feeling.
